JERRY KELLY: I haven't used this putter since 2009. It's a good one.
Q. Did you use it when you won here?
JERRY KELLY: Probably, because I used it when I won Zurich, so I'm guessing.
Q. What type of putter is it?
JERRY KELLY: It's a Cleveland, $42 out of the pro shop of Nevada Bob's in Madison, Wisconsin. I bought my dad one and he bought me one for Christmas, both backtoback. That way we could buy each other a putter instead of each coming out with a putter.
Q. What was it like out there back and forth?
JERRY KELLY: I mean, I was just telling Sybi Kuchar, I'm like, besides playing with Strick, which is always fun, but playing with Kuchar, it's always a game out there. You know, it's always fun. You always want to give that smile back to him and do something special just to have as much fun as he seems to have doing that type of thing. You know, it picks me up to play some fun golf.
Q. You talked a little bit about the distance that Harris had and then had that 8-iron.
JERRY KELLY: Yeah, I hit utility, he hit 8-iron. There is a reason I'm going to the Champions Tour and that is it right there. You know, I can compete, but day in and day out, it's just easier. I'm looking forward to being one of the longer ones again.
STEVE STRICKER: We just couldn't get that momentum, you know. A shot here or there. Jerry played great. Wish I could have helped him out a couple more times. I had some putts at it I didn't make, but it was fun. Harris made an eagle. I knew somebody was going to do something there. It was just playing too short. He hit two great shots there at 17 and that was the difference really.
Q. What were you looking at coming to 18 here and what happened?
STEVE STRICKER: Yeah, I had a borderline number to get a 9-iron in there and I tried to push it, and I thought if I hit a little chip 8 that it wasn't going to stop, so I hit it just left of the flag, too, and it didn't carry. I thought I could carry it. So that's disappointing not to get another putt at it. I'm kind of shocked that I didn't make it because I thought I could hammer it and get it there and just didn't get it there.
Q. Did you have a good look at Jerry's putt?
STEVE STRICKER: Looked good, looked good. He putted great all this week. He was confident, he thought he was going to make it so I knew he was going to give it a good run. He hit a great putt.
